STRAPPING

Strapping can be used to bundle and secure goods on a pallet and we have three types available; Polypropylene, Polyester and Steel.

Polypropylene is an economical strapping for light to medium duty requirements, ideal for bundling light to medium weight pallet loads. It can be both hand and machine applied with a range of seals to suit. We have tools for tensioning, sealing, combination tools and automated machinery.

– 12 mm hand strap suitable for 130kg to 300kg breaking strain
– Semi-automatic strapping
– A wider 16mm strap for heavier requirements
– Standard smooth seals for general application
– Serrated seals for extra grip
– Longer heavy duty seals for heavier requirements
– Separate hand tensioner and hand sealer, combination tools, battery powered tools and machinery for semi and fully automated applications

Polyester strapping is an alternative to steel strapping. Soft and strong, it can be used in conjunction with a metal buckle and strapping tensioner or for ultra-efficiency, a battery powered friction weld tool can be used for the ultimate seal. It is ideal for your heavier load requirements.

– Flexible and rigid polyester from 270kgs to 850kgs
– Woven, composite and hot melt polyester for breaking strains up to 2000kgs
– Serrated seals for flexible polyester
– Galvanised buckles for use with composite strapping
– Sheradised buckles for extra grip and higher weather resistance on woven and hot-melt strapping
– Battery powered friction weld tools eliminate the need for buckles or seals and gives improved tension and incredible efficient long lasting seal
– Separate tensioner and sealer also available

Steel strapping is used for industrial and heavy load requirements, hand applied using steel specific tooling. Suitable for sealing timber crates, heavy duty pallet boxes, heavy engineered goods, etc.

– 13mm to 32mm wide, 360kg to 2040kg breaking strain
– Ribbon wound for easy handling
– Millwound for high coil capacity and to reduce downtime
– Open and closed seals to suit a range of widths
– Separate hand tensioner and sealer combination tools, including tools to create a seamless joint
– Safety cutters are also available

We offer starter kits for all types of strap to include; strap, seals, dispenser, tensioner and sealer.

– To aid packaging and for extra protection we stock cardboard and plastic edge protection
– Mobile and static dispensers, including seal storage
– Pallet probe for a quick and easy method of feeding the strap under pallets
